5-121. The East Shore of Lake Tahoe has many rocky points & sandy coves, the area around Sand Harbor State Park is one of my favorite. The hiking trail north of the boat ramp leds to this rocky point, The elevated view point really brings out the amazing colors in the water as the sandy bottom gets deeper. This Panorama is made from a sequence of 3 separate photos,
shot one after the other on Fuji Velvia slide film. I then scan the slides to get the digital files to work with
I either print them as 3 individual photos that hang together
or I stitch the files together to make this single panoramic image

commonly called a "Metal Print", there are a couple of different ways to transfer an image onto metal.
My Lab uses the sublimation printing process, where using a heat press, the digital file is used to imprint the image into the special coating on a sheet of aluminum.
the Finnish I use is glossy. The standard mount, priced bellow, is a "floating mount" where the photograph appears to float 3/4 inch away from the wall, a premium flush mount is also available.
